This skirt is my all-round favorite skirt I have ever purchased. I like both colors, but I purchased the light blue one. The skirt is comfortable, splendid workmanship, and quality material.
Messure and you'll be fine! My favorite skirt. I'm a size 22 the 2x fit me good. Next time I'll probably size up to 3x just because I like my skirts looser. I still love it!
After shopping at some of the major retailers and being disappointed with the quality of their dresses, it was refreshing to come to The Main Street Exchange and find a pretty dress that’s lined, comfortable, and reasonably priced. And it has pockets!

I purchased both a medium and a large because I wanted the stretchy top to be comfortable and not too tight. I ended up keeping the large and returned the medium without any issues. The top is thicker than I expected, so I won’t need to wear anything underneath or layer it. It’s both beautiful and modest! I’m about 5'6", and the dress falls about 3 inches above my ankles—slightly longer than I anticipated. I’m extremely pleased with this dress and can’t wait to wear it for my college commencement next week!🤍🎓
I purchased this dress in both "sage" and "chai". It is extremely comfortable, modest, and I can wear it pretty much anywhere. This dress felt heavy at first, but I soon realized that this is what REAL clothes feel like. The dress was able to keep me warm while also not causing me to overheat. I have received SO MANY compliments on these dresses, and I always promote this website!
My only suggestion: Take your measurements and give yourself a little wiggle room. I had to unbutton the arms on the sleeves, but that is not an issue for me. I wear between a size 6-8 in dresses, and I bought the medium.
It has been a journey trying to find flattering, modest dresses from companies that support my values. I am getting married soon, and have been trying to invest in a natural fibers wardrobe that will sustain me through possible pregnancies and raising children. I love the fabric and design of this dress. The cuffs were tight around my arms. ( I’m kinda in between sizes.) So, I gifted the dress to my daughter, it looks phenomenal on her!
The fabric of the Louisa is comfy, and I love the colour. The fact that it's nursing friendly is great, although when your baby is crying it feels like quite a few buttons and hooks! I pair it with the crop layering tank to fill in the v-neck for more modesty.
I am 5'2", 160 lbs, and postpartum with my fourth baby. This skirt is the perfect length and super stretchy for all-day comfort. I absolutely love that it is also 95% cotton. Highly recommend!
