Love this skirt but sizing can be tricky

My first purchase included the Haven skirt in dark wash. I loved it so much I decided to buy the light wash as well. However my dark wash was a little tight(it's since loosened) so I decided to size up 1 size for my next order. However it's way too big. It is also made differently. I wrongly assumed it would be made the same since its also called the Haven. The dark wash one was 100% cotton. This one is 97% cotton and 3% spandex. Not a huge difference percentage-wise but I definitely think that could explain the sizing issue I experienced. I will say the initial Haven skirt that I ordered that is 100% cotton and felt a little tight initially has loosened after a couple wears and fits perfectly. So this is just a lesson learned and I am sharing to help others with sizing! Also pay attention the material details because the "same" skirt might not actually be the same. The 100% cotton is a lot better honestly. I don't the stretchiness of the spandex blend and as already started I think its sized larger than the 100% cotton. The other problem is is I don't want to spend even more money to exchange for a different size so now I'm kind of stuck with a skirt that doesn't fit me and I'm hoping to sell it. It's a shame that I feel like I don't want to exchange it because of the cost to.

The best skirt

This is my favorite skirt. It’s so soft, great length and fits very nice. Could you please carry this in a dark denim!
