Beautiful Dress

Overall, I am delighted with this dress. The deep, emerald green is beautiful; it almost shimmers in the sunlight. While I don't usually go for pleats, they give the skirt body and a nice flounce that I enjoy. The elastic waist also makes this dress super comfortable when sitting or standing. My only "complaint" would be that the fabric wrinkles easily, requiring an iron; I did try to use a steamer, but it didn't work. I didn't bother ironing the pleats; however, I don't think anyone noticed!

Finally, the fit bordered on being too large, and I almost considered returning for a small. For reference, I bought a size medium, am 5'4", and have about a 30" waist. I found that tying the dress in the front was not flattering on me and made the top look baggy. Instead, I tied it in the back, which worked so much better for me, and made it so I didn't have to return the dress. I would recommend sizing down if you are in between sizes and want to wear it as pictured on the model.
