Loved the dress, was super cute on my daughter when she first tried it on. I have several cotton gauze dresses myself and always wash them on warm and medium to high heat in the dryer. That did NOT work on this dress. I bought it for a christmas program for my daughter and it shrunk quite a bit, to the point that it really bugged her but she was able to wear it at least. That night hubby grabbed some clothes and threw it in the washer again not realizing the dress was in the pile. After the second time thru the washer and dryer it shrunk to about a size 4. Originally it was a size 8. Im not sure why my 100% cotton gauze dresses are capable of being washed and dried with heat when this 100% cotton gauze dress could not. It does say to wash in cold water on the tag so that was my mistake.
